Colorado Distilleries

Welcome to The Centennial State! If you’re unfamiliar with Colorado, you might be surprised to find a whole new land within the United States. Colorado is home to some wacky weather, high altitudes, and drool-worthy views. But the fun doesn’t stop there – not for us. Colorado distilleries are sprinkled all over the state, and there are more than ninety of them! You certainly have your work cut out for you if you’re trying to check all of the Colorado distilleries off your list.

If you want to get the most bang for your travel buck, there are about twenty-five Colorado distilleries right in the Metro Denver area. This area might include a thirty to forty-minute drive in any direction as you explore the cities close to Denver. However, the extreme density of distilleries in this area means that you don’t have to travel far if you don’t want to. This fact also means that there are pre-planned distillery tours galore for you to partake in – in Denver alone.

You also find that there’s a massive airport in Denver – this makes it the perfect place to fly into the state and start your distillery tours right off the bat. When it comes to visiting Colorado, we also recommend that you visit local sights like the Red Rocks Amphitheater – maybe even go skiing or snowboarding!

If you’re only here in Colorado for a short time but want to make the best use of your time visiting Colorado distilleries, we highly recommend Colorado Gold Spirits (a little more than an hour's drive from the Denver International Airport), Distillery 291 (in the same area), and Denver Distillery right in Denver, CO.

Regardless of which Colorado distilleries you choose to visit while you’re in The Centennial State, we know you won’t be disappointed. Colorado distillers have an unmatched passion for their craft – and it truly shows in every bottle they distill.
