Minnesota Distilleries

If you find yourself in “The North Star State,” you may not even recognize that you’re in prime real estate for visiting distilleries. Minnesota distilleries are actually incredibly popular, especially in the big city – Minneapolis. In fact, Minnesota’s distilling scene is very exciting; many Minnesota distilleries locally source their grains and other products from farms nearby.

If you’re looking to travel into Minnesota, landing in Minneapolis is – hands down – the best place to start your adventure. The Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport will get you right into Minnesota’s largest city, and there are a whopping fourteen Minnesota distilleries here alone.

Now, it goes without saying that you’d be extremely busy if you wanted to visit every single one of the nearly forty Minnesota distilleries. In order to make your trip the most memorable and worthwhile, browse through Distillery Nearby’s Minnesota page to find distilleries that spark your interest. You’ll find that there are eight more Minnesota distilleries near you if you hunker down in Minneapolis. There are two in St. Louis Park, and one in each of the following cities: Roseville, Saint Paul, Eden Prairie, Isanti, Waconia, and Northfield.

If you’re only going to be in the land of 10,000 lakes for a short time, we highly recommend Skaalvenn Distillery in Brooklyn Park, Flying Dutchman Spirits in Eden Prairie, and The 11Wells Spirits Company LLC in St. Paul.

If you want to take a fun road trip, your time will be well-spent if you travel up north to the coldest city in the USA, International Falls – make sure to stop by Cantilever Distillery + Hotel in Ranier while you’re up there!

No matter how you choose to divvy up your time (or if you’re a local just looking for new spots), we’re sure there are Minnesota distilleries you’ll love visiting.
