Oklahoma Distilleries

If you’re visiting “The Sooner State,” you’ll know that this is a large state with flat land that stretches on for what seems like forever. However, despite its deceptive appearance, Oklahoma is actually home to a good handful of amazing distilleries. Visiting all of them might be a challenge, just due to the sheer size of the state, but trust us when we say that these Oklahoma distilleries are well worth the drive.

If you fly into Will Rogers World Airport, you’ll be close to the heart of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Here, you’ll find two distilleries – Success Vodka and Castle Spirits Distillery. If you stay in Oklahoma City, you’re also not far from four more Oklahoma distilleries. Two are about a half-hour from you in Moore: Scissortail Distillery and Twister Distillery. Then, about 45 minutes from you in Guthrie, you’ll find WanderFolk Spirits and Prairie Wolf Spirits.

After you’ve knocked these six Oklahoma distilleries off your list, things start to get a bit more road-trip-worthy. Depending on how far you want to go, you can travel anywhere from an hour to nearly four hours to get to cities like Stillwater, Shattuck, Boynton, Henryetta, or Broken Bow. If you do make a single road trip, we recommend heading to Tulsa, where you’ll find two Oklahoma distilleries – Oklahoma Distilling Company and Red Fork Distillery – every other city only has one.

If you’re trying to see the best of the best Oklahoma distilleries while you’re here, you’ll probably be visiting the aforementioned Success Vodka and WanderFolk Spirits. However, regardless of how you choose to spend your time in Oklahoma, we know you’ll have plenty to see and do – especially if you visit places like the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, the Philbrook Museum of Art, and the Oklahoma Zoo & Botanical Garden.
