Who is Coming to the Wisconsin Whiskey Festival?

Check out this list of businesses committed so far. Then, check their event page as more information comes out about the 150+ whiskeys, vendors, food, education, and brand-new floorplan.

Keepers Heart Whiskey

They are the leading sponsor of this year’s Wisconsin Whiskey Festival. Their whiskey blends the best of Irish and American whiskey. In fact, they just released their flagship offering that highlights Irish whiskey’s notes of baking spices. They pair this with the sweetness and lingering notes of charred oak of American whiskey. Their secret? It’s the triple copper pot distillation.

Penelope Bourbon

You’ll enjoy their toasted series that’s charred in American oak barrels and then finished in a new, freshly toasted barrel. A genuinely unique whiskey, you’ll taste notes of vanilla in their final product.

Old Elk Wheated Bourbon

This is a smooth, layered whiskey that’s aged for at least five years. The wheat in it allows the natural flavors of the corn to shine through. In this one, you’ll notice a sweetness from the light vanilla notes in the barrel.

Hatch Distilling Co.

There’s no mass distilling here. Hatch bills themselves as distillers, beekeepers, farmers, and even foragers. Everything comes right from Door County, Wisconsin, so this is one whiskey worth a taste. Their American Single Malt Whiskey is fermented, distilled, and aged on-site in Egg Harbor. It’s crafted from three unique varieties of malted barley and aged for at least two years in new American White Oak barrels.

Jeppesons Bourbon

This blend of straight bourbon whiskey is aged for a minimum of at least four years in new charred American oak barrels. You’ll enjoy notes of caramel, brown sugar, and vanilla.

La Cross Distilling

Their Robber’s whiskey is a Maryland Rye with a fruit-forward characteristic. Enjoy flavors of dried cherry, vanilla, and a hint of tobacco with a slightly nutty flavor. Leave it in the glass for a minute to release the caramel and butterscotch notes! Each batch tastes slightly different, so this one might be a surprise.

Clyde Mays

They offer several different kinds of whiskey. Their “original” Alabama style is 85 proof and aged for four years in oak barrels, and finished with a hint of apple. It’s great over ice or in a cocktail.

Kurvball Whiskey

They offer the original barbecue whiskey, so you can expect a very distinct flavor profile. You’ll have to visit their booth to learn more!

Driftless Glen

With award-winning whiskey such as their Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey, Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey, and 51 Rye Whiskey, you’ll find a lot to like about Driftless Glen. Each one has its own distinct flavor range.

Old Dominick

Straight Tennessee Whiskey and Bottled in Bond are their two whiskey offerings. For over 125 years, Old Dominick has been making premium whiskey, loved all over the country.

Great Lakes Distillery

Opened in 2004, they are the first distillery to open there since Prohibition. They are trailblazers in the Wisconsin craft spirits industry. They use the finest ingredients found right in Wisconsin, such as local grain, locally harvested honey, Door County cherries, and Marathon County ginseng. Expect the flavor of Wisconsin in every sip.

Dancing Goat Distillery

You’ll find this distillery in the vineyards right outside Madison. They combine the art and science of distillation from the past with modern technology. They are constantly experimenting to bring you the best in Wisconsin whiskey.

Wisconsin Whiskey Festival Charity

In 2023, the festival chose the We Care Fund of Wisconsin as its charity. This is in memory of their late friend, Ron Brefka. The We Care Fund supports the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Surgery. Their goal is to fund medical innovation and research for cutting-edge therapies. The We Care Fund supports research endeavors in the fields of:

  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Gastrointestinal Disease
  • Cancer
  • Newborn and Child Disease
  • Organ Transplant
  • Trauma

Lifesaving solutions are vital, and 100% of donations support medical research. Doesn’t that make attending the Wisconsin Whiskey Festival even more important?
