Red Fork Distillery in Tulsa, Oklahoma

A husband and wife pair began this craft distillery in 2015. They always enjoyed the occasional drink, and with backgrounds in marketing and construction, they decided to give it a go. Their passion led them to open Red Fork Distillery, the first distillery in Oklahoma since prohibition ended in 1933.

With a nod to history, they used brick for their still that was forged in Buffalo, Oklahoma. Additionally, it shows their dedication to locally crafted items. When it comes to their spirits, they offer handcrafted bourbons, whiskeys, vodka, moonshine, and cinnamon moonshine.

You can book private tours and tastings for groups of eight or more for $10/per person. These are one-hour experiences, and they treat you to a behind-the-scenes tour. You will also taste their spirits as well as the spirits that are still in development.

Castle Spirits in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

You’ll find their unique Honey Blend formula at this small-batch craft distillery. You’ll also appreciate the finishing touch on their bottles with the hand-dipped wax seal embossed with their insignia.

Their journey began at Oktoberfest in Texas, where they first tasted honey whiskey and fell in love. After watching “Moonshiners” on the Discovery Channel, they were hooked, and the distillery was born. Interestingly, the head distiller is also a master plumber, and he created their first still and mastered an age-old process. The team first set up their craft distillery in the back of their plumbing shop while they worked on licensing, and every bottle is handcrafted and made with love.

Their Signature Series Honey Blend is something definitely worth tasting. It’s distilled in a hammered brass still and is a softly aromatic spirit. The team distills it from grain using the traditional sour mash method. Finally, they finish it in seasoned American Oak barrels with their locally-sourced honey blends.

They say their blend is “supernatural!” To schedule a tasting at their distillery, simply visit their website and request your private tour and tasting.
