Wisconsin Distilleries

Welcome to the upper Midwest – we hope you enjoy your time here and in “The Badger State,” regardless of whether you’re here to visit family, you’re a local, or you’re on a vacation to visit Wisconsin distilleries. If you’re here purely for distilleries, you’ll be excited to find out that there are more than thirty Wisconsin distilleries for you to visit and enjoy. That’s a whole lot of touring to do!

The two largest airports in the state of Wisconsin are Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (Milwaukee) and Drane County Regional Airport (Madison). Keep in mind that, since Wisconsin is a large state, you can use the other, smaller airports to your advantage, too – it all depends on how much you want to drive and what course you plot out.

As far as density goes, your best city to hunker down in is going to be Milwaukee – it has four of your Wisconsin distilleries: Twisted Path Distillery, Central Standard Craft Distillery, Great Lakes Distillery, and Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling Co. Plus, you’ll be within forty-five minutes’ drive of Burlington and twenty-five minutes of Franklin. You’ll find AeppelTreow Winery & Distillery and Bar Napkin Spirits here, respectively.

If you want a little bit longer of a drive, Cottage Grove, Cambridge, and Fond du Lac are all just about an hour from Milwaukee, and they all each have one distillery. However, the best bang for your tank of gas might be driving an hour and twenty minutes to Madison, where you’ll find three more Wisconsin distilleries: Yahara Bay Distillers, State Line Distillery, and Old Sugar Distillery.

Regardless of which course you decide to plot, we know you’ll thoroughly enjoy all that Wisconsin has to offer. From beautiful, breathtaking scenery to the amazing, local craft Wisconsin distilleries, there’s just so much to do and keep you busy.
